Without showing an example of the file or its contents or the full error-message, "anything"
can be the problem, eg your data vendor might have changed the file's contents' set-up
by changing the security's ticker/symbol into the security's name. Or in DL you have the
Create New Files option set to Off (go Convert|Options|Destination).
Or on "Open" in the Downloader/Metastock, the "Open"-Dialog Window is set to "Names"
to display security names only. You can change this mode on the bottom of the window by
clicking "Ticker" to have the securities displayed in Ticker code.
