importing ascii into msw 6.52

Does someone know the answer to this problem ???

I used to happily import ascii files into MS (end of day) 6.5

However since upgrading to ver. 6.52 (eod) when I stipulate the file to
be imported, the program picks up the long name instead of the stock
code and consequently fails to find the file to be imported.

eg in the past "BHP" (an Australian stock)
now "Broken Hill Pty Ltd"

I have not been able to find how the browse function in the downloader
can be instructed to pick up the stock code rather than the long name.
