Sounds like the stocks you are evaluating have been in a strong bull market
for the last few years-most of the big stocks have. It's hard to beat
buy-and-hold in a bull market. Try your systems on stocks such as Boeing
that have not gone straight up, or try some commodities such as wheat,
copper or crude oil. Your systems will compare much more favorably to
buy-and-hold for these.
