<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Knowing from Microsoft official announcement that the WinNT (5.x) will
succeed the Windows (9.x) operating</DIV>
<DIV>systems as the Windows 2000 Pro (and Small Business Server), eg that for
the next 10 years or so, the</DIV>
<DIV>Windows environment will still be the (everyone's) main OS, than will
Equis/MetaStock also join in here, eg</DIV>
<DIV>to provide its users with helpfull VBScripts (examples) to fully
automate Metastock + Subs program's (daily)</DIV>
<DIV>repetitive tasks and also for any of the other frequent or non-frequent
returning but very large "tasks"?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Consequently, will the List be able to provide the automation scripts (eg
the discussioning of), so as for the</DIV>
<DIV>scripts to be there for everyone, eg to be applicable, enjoyable and
usable?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Why I ask the above?</DIV>
<DIV>In this, like many others on the List and/or as a MetaStock user, I am
pretty much a VBScript beginner as well.</DIV>
<DIV>Actualy, I have always left VBA (and VB) for what it was, as (at first) it
went way above my head(and lack of/in</DIV>
<DIV>time prevailed me to further check it out and to learn).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>However, the VBScript, as the successor of old DOS Batch and VBA's younger
brother/sister, is something</DIV>
<DIV>more in my way of (automating) line of thinking(less complicated and more
direct usable). Actualy, some</DIV>
<DIV>of the functions etc used, are much the equivelant for functions used in
the MetaStock Formula Language.</DIV>
<DIV>That should also help a lot into a better understanding of how "coding and
writing" is done in VBScript. </DIV>
