In netscape goto:

Edit > Preferences > Navigator > Applications >
then "New Type"
Fill in ".csv" and the application (Excel) directory. You will have to
restart Netscape

Using IE it launches an Excel window inside of IE from which I can copy
and paste into my Excel spreadsheet in Excel.

Is there anyway to do this in Netscape. I have version 4.05. When I
click on the bookmark above it asks me to save it. Then I have to open
the file in Excel and cut and paste into my spreadsheet.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

thanks in advance,
