since the last patch update

using the x-axis properties i selected:
displayed:
1st date=10/01/98    last date=2/12/99

loaded:
1st date=5/6/97      last date=2/12/99

and retain scale: checked.
using smar charts

from time to time when i open metastock, it will open up from another 
1st date (eg 2/18/98), as if the retain scale does not work.

also if i zoom in on one chart, all charts get the same zoom factor,
instead of each chat having it's own pre-selected zoom.

any ideas
