RE: Downloader and Excel

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

You can use OLE to connect MS to Excel but it's a clumsy way to go. I
bought MS' library DLL to interface the MS data to Visual Basic 5.0 but
haven't had time to really play with it.

I have my system running in Excel and pick up the last 1000 days through
OLE. Whenever I change the future's month, the link to OLE breaks and it's
a real pain in the butt to reconnect. It takes me several tries and
sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I usually delete everything
and try to establish the link again. Spoke with Equis a while ago and they
tell me to contact Microsoft regarding OLE. Tried that with no help either.

You can use Visual Basic for Applications within Excel and then use the MS
DLL. That might be the easiest way to go. I may play with that next since
my spreadsheets are complete.
