Hello Equis Support,
Best wishes for the New Year. Thanks for replying to my request at such a
short notice. Thanks too for your excellent advice, as ALL Layouts mentioned
in my previous mail ARE indeed FIXED, and these Layouts were also the ones
that are very important to me.
I had these fixed using your advice, to tempere/reduce the accelaration
speed of my screen, eg "Try turning down the video accelarator".
Here this possible from +4(highest) to +1(lowest) out of the 4x options given,
and the lowest was required for the -unavailable before- Layouts to be
displayable again. Just note that booting to Safe Mode did not do anything
to help to fix it. Also, I will definitly get in touch with my video-card manufacturer
(Diamond-Edge3d) for any new updated drivers versions.
HOWEVER tonight, on opening one of my -above- mentioned 'valuable but
unavailable' Layouts, another dialog ERROR message was being returned:
"Date requested is after the last date in the data"
- Retry or Cancel -
I had to press the Cancel button, to get at least the rest of the Layout to display
and this error this time, is obviously due to fact that, as one of the Charts in this
Layout is based on WEEKLY data, the MS program is now calculating weeks to
be TRUE weeks, eg starting on Mondays and ending on Fridays and as today is
Tuesday(19990105) and NOT the week's last date, eg coming Friday(19990108),
then indeed
"the date(friday) requested, is after the last date(tuesday) in the data".
Changing any other of the visable Charts of this Layout to weekly data returns the
same error and changing them to monthly data returns the same error also.
Now how about that? Finaly I am having, with your precious help, an also precious
Layout to be viewable again, then this "mutulating the Layout"-error spoils the
Layout's intends...........
As an example see the attached "auto004.GIF".
Regards,
Ton Maas
