Re: 6.52 Patch "BUG?" PROBLEM

Part the "patch problems" are due to the fact many people are confused about
which version of Metastock they have and which patch to use for which
Metastock program. There are patches for MS 6.5 (EOD), MS 6.51 (RT), and
also for earlier versions of Metastock. Make sure you are using the right
patch for the right program. Further, some notes/replies are confusing as to
which upgrade/Metastock version is causing the problem discussed in the
note/reply. This is the first step to solving many of the encountered
problems. "Driver conflicts" as detailed in Daniel Martinez's excellent note
is the next step to solve upgrade problems. Next is to read through the
notes/replies of the last week to see if anyone else has had your specific
problem/error and see what they did about it. Next is to contact Equis
Support (which has been quite active on this board this week). Most
errors/problems should be rectified through this process. If not then
chances are it's your system that is causing the problem (not the upgrade)
or there may be a "bug" still in Metastock. These problems should be
directed at Equis Support. If this last step is followed maybe we can put
MORE pressure on Equis to solve the "bugs" many have requested be fixed in
the past but still remain.
