If you are using Telescan, this is normal after a 3 day holiday. The
download rate drops to about 3% of its normal speed.
Last Summer I switched to Quotes Plus and havent had this problem. After a
3 day weekend, a window comes up that says that there is no data for Friday
(or Monday) and if it was a holiday to click on OK.
Telescan and Equis are unable/unwilling to get together and clean up this
problem. Telescan did tell me that the MS Downloader and one other (they
didnt give me the name) have this problem.
Your problem may be soved if you can bypass the Downloader for downloads.
