I recently upgraded to a USR 56K modem and I tested it with MCI.
It connected at 46.7K and I was able to download the 2 weekend files, about
250K and 1.08 MB, in 5 minutes. The download took place at 12:30am
PST Sunday. While the download speed could have been faster, I am
satisfied with the speed.
You may be having problems connecting to the QP2 address. Call
Prodigy and ask them if you need any DNS numbers entered into your MS Dial-up
Networking. I am assuming Prodigy uses the MS-DUN and not their own
proprietary software to connect (as AOL does). BTW: did you
have any trouble upgrading your previous version of Netscape to v4.5?
