Jim,

True, it is absolutely redigulous that in Metastocks internal programs a lot
of what used to be called exporting or copying is not possible by MS or DL
and made available by programs to be pressed buttons.
Lots of mails have been written on this subject and even Equis Support where
going to forward this to the suggestions department
suggestions@xxxxxxxxx
Internaly programs im- or exporting possibilities are minor, very difficult to do.
As such the MS+DL programs needs a good clean up.

Note in this that Win95 compatible programs were originaly set out to work with
double mouse clicking ONLY and were not basicaly setout to run commands
using the irretating keyboard, wich was old DOSs handycap.
As such MS or DL are not Win95 compatible and now we already have Win98
on the market!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(In this I do not think its developers are also its daily users...............!!!!)

Anyway, there are several workarounds(=some setup previously needed in criple DOS)
copying -select a line in report, then copy by "Ctrl+C" to paste "Ctrl+V"
into Word, WordPad or Excel etc. or
printing -choose and done via the Microsoft Text printer and print to file(asci)
printing -choose and done via the Microsoft Power Tools HTML printer and print to file(html)

Open the printed files in WordPad or Excel
-the generic asci textprinter can be found on your Win95-Cdrom
genral name "DDRV Windows Generic / Text Only" driver
required files TTY.DRV, TTY.HLP, UNIDRV.DLL, UNIDRV.HLP, ICONLIB.DLL
(like usual, the HLP-files are of no use and the files are enclosed in one of
the cdroms CAB(cabinet) files)

-the htmlprinter is available at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/contents/PowerToys/W95PwrToysSet/default.asp?custarea=bus&site=family&openmen
u=&highlighteditem=
(note that its the entire links' address, also the possible black bits)

or at
