as all these stocks are previous market leaders that are in Short Term

Misc. Dial-up Networking Tools (& Programs)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PEAK PERFORMANCE
Don't trust the Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking default settings to provide
your modem with optimal throughput. In fact, your computer may be
transmitting packet sizes that actually hinder your downloads and Web
browsing. iSpeed offers a solution by facilitating Registry changes that
can maximize your available bandwidth. Specifically, iSpeed lets you
change TCP/IP parameters such as the Maximum Transmission Unit, Maximum
Segment Size, Receive Window, Time To Live, MTU Auto Discovert, and Black
Hole Detection at the click of a button. If you're confused by all that
Net jargon, don't worry: iSpeed provides preset profiles that have been
found to produce improvements on a variety of machines and
configurations. Find a profile that gets you higher throughput than your
current settings and then tweak them a little at a time--changes are
completely reversible. You can record your settings in a history file and
then graph the results of your connections, so you can see when--and
how--you got the best results.

hit Ctrl+P, re-select all, hit Ctrl+C and paste into an "shortcut".url file, eg use it as the
shortcuts properties adress to connect to. You can also copy any shortcut(url) for that matter,
they are found by a Find or F3 search searching for " *.url ".

CONTROL FREAK
Buried deep within the Registry lies the ability to control many aspects
of Windows 95. It's a tempting place to venture, but exercise extreme
caution when making changes there. A safer alternative would be to use
Windows Administrator, a program that lets you customize Windows 95 by
offering you direct access to tons of system settings that are otherwise
available only through the Registry. The program lets you manipulate the
desktop, user settings, system configuration, and Explorer shell options
from an interface that's neatly organized into logical animated menus.
With Windows Administrator, you can add Windows 98 special effects,
change the Start button caption, modify boot settings, clear the
Documents menu, eliminate "Shortcut to" prefixes, tweak dial-up
preferences, and even challenge your computer to a game of chess.
