For those of us who are not chartist, it would help if you would post what
type of chart you're looking at.

My assumption here is that you are talking about a daily DJIA chart.  At
least that's the one I'm going to be looking at using your post.

If that's wrong, please let me know.

PS, Since I'm not a chartist, I use a weekly S&P Cont. chart to give me a
'general' idea of what's going on in terms of direction of the market and
it's general trend.  Now I have saved a bunch of posts here to try to select
a better methodology.  My personal goal is to find a fairly accurate
approach to helping me to determine market direction.  I'll use our normal
signals for all trades, however, this would enable me to better protect
myself with visual stops, etc.
