Just a few ideas:
-Generally before diving into "others' complex technics as advertised in some mags",
use the basics that have been used for ages and of wich 99% are MS-build-in
-Get Achellis's TA from A to Z to read up on those "basics"(also in MS right click for help
and use Prings (educational) indicators)
-Use the MS buid-in custom indicator "Binairy Waves All of above" to get you up and running
for the first years
-Use RSI , MACD, CMO, LinearReg, Price+25SMA+50SMA etc. etc.(basics) separatly, in
in their own Bwave too,
-Read up on these as to what their 'properties' are when they have to assist you on
your "TA-path" down the markets
-Give yourselve time(lots) to get aquinted to these high quality indicators
-Get aquinted to the several better quality companies too, find the better 'growth'-stocks
etc. and get as much information on companies and markets as you can handle
-Use (stock) Indexes for general markets directions and 'covered' hidden dangers
-Train yourselve in how to use TA-theories while charting(eg implementing and drawing
patterns,formations,trendlines,trends,S&R's, floors&ceilings etc. etc.)
-Create "your" default template containing 2 or more charts holding various different indicators
-Create "your" default template containing 2 or more charts charts holding both weekly and
daily data for the same indicators(do not hesitate to switch to 'monthly')
-Leave trading up to when you've reached a more "succesfull" system(s) + technic(s) + more
experienced level, in the mean time invest for the longer term and do run your backtest on
lengthless data once you have choosen "your indicators/approuch system"
-Do not enter positions unless you are frankly sure you will get on top, if they run against you
do not hesitate to get out, learning from mistakes as you go along
