Brooke,
     Thanks for the info.  I'll check out Silicon Investor.  I did
finally read the help files <G>.  My problem was that after I set up a
virtual directory of my existing MetaStock files, It apparently didn't
have any data ion it.  When I tried to open a file in the virtual
directory with MetaStock, I just got a bland chart that was properly
formatted, but no data.  I'm now thinking that maybe MetaStock can't
read virtual files.  Is that right?
