Richard,
Thanks for the reply. Actually, I had already created the a
virtual directory from my existing MetaStock files. The problem was
that when I tried to open a virtual directory file with MetaStock, I
was just getting a blank chart. My question was how to get data into
the virtual files. I did get desperate last night and actually read
the help files <G>. My thought was that once I got the virtual files
set up, I could delete my existing MetaStock files and just use the
virtual files. In reading the help file, I'm now not sure that this
is doable. The help files talk about using the virtual files with
MetaStock compatible programs, not MetaStoc k itself. I'm now
thinking that I have to keep my existing MetaStock files and update
and change them as required with QP2. Is that right or am I still
mixed up.
