I really encourage you to try running the software you need for your course
under Win95b, (or even Win98). Most applications which run under Win 3.11,
will install and run happily under Win95b without modification. Occasionally
you might need to fiddle with pifs, or DOS box settings, but this would be
mainly for applications needing special hardware drivers etc.
