Hi everyone..
I have just upgraded to MS 6.5. My old data provider (Globe Information
Services - as I am from Canada) no longer provided data effective last
fall. Unfortunately the some 750+ files of data I have accumulated over
the years will have to me manually changed for the difference in ticker
symbols of the data provider....and now I just discovered that the volume
will all have to be adjusted also! since the factor is different.
I am currently trying to evaluate Dial Data and Reuters Trend Data. I was
wondering if anyone has any feed back on them?
I am mainly interested in
1) reliablity of data
2) availablity of Canadian data - both indices and stocks (all exchanges)
By the way...I tried both services today, and notice that it appears that
Reuters has more history available....but I also notice that both services
report different volume figures ...by about the difference of 6,352 (x100
factor)!!
Any feedback..or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
