I have a database that is populated by MSN for EOD values (forex). The symbol is EUR.USD-IDEALPRO-CASH, I use the symbol translation table in Amiquote to obtain the EOD data.
In the database setting I have checked "allow mixed EOD/intraday".
At this point I have years of EOD data for EUR.USD. Then I turn on the IB data plugin and backfill 20 days of 1 minute data. At this point two really strange things happen;
1. No matter what the backfill length is set to (except 180 days), I get 5 days of data (6/6 when backfilling). Even changing the 1 minute backfill to 1 hour doesn't change the number of days. When I use 180 days it works but says 36/36. I don't understand this behavour.
2. All the EOD data is gone, ALL of it. All I have now is the intraday backfill from IB.
Any help appeciated to solve this. I think what I'm looking for is obvious, I'd like all the data to remain and be able to used mixed intra and EOD so I can zoom in and out from 1 minute to weekly charts.
