Hello,

Refresh rate is not stored in the registry. It is stored in a file (broker.prefs)  documented in http://www.amibroker.com/guide/x_files.html
that is located in AmiBroker directory.
You can have 2 different preferences if you install AmiBroker twice into different directories. Note that if that's the case
each installation will have its own settings, own formulas and generally speaking should not share layouts.

Best regards,

I run multiple instances of AB on the same esignal data source.  So far, I have not experienced any problems.  The refresh rate is stored in the registry (I think), so you would have to check the Preferences of each instance to make sure the refresh rate was the desired amount for each one after starting up AB.
Note:  If you want to run Ninjatrader or QCollector at the same time as AB, then start and connect those before connecting AB.  If you start AB first, then QC and NT will not connect to esignal.

Do you find setting the chart refresh to 'zero' (i.e. every tick) makes a noticeable difference on performance relative to setting it to say '2 seconds'...?
