Thanks Dan. Yes, I tried the reset all button. Interestingly it and the OK button only appear when I hover over them with the cursor. Not so sure about replacing the code just yet. Only had the app for a few days and I'm currently working my way through Howard Bandy's book using the default templates supplied with AB. I'm 99% certain it is an issue with my hardware, and I'll go shopping for a vid card. I appreciate your responding tho, thanks again,
