[amibroker] SetForeign("$TICK")

Hi,

I've been trying to use SetForeign("$TICK") (using eSignal as provider) to chart the NYSE TICK in a pane below price (ES June '09 contract, both Tick and 1-min charts). No matter what I in fact change the symbol to, I just get prices for the main instrument. The code for the TICK pane is

sym = "$TICK";
SetForeign(sym);
PlotOHLC(O, H, L, C, sym, colorBlack, styleBar);
RestorePriceArrays();

I emailed support, and Marcin did get back suggesting using two chart windows and wanting to be sure $TICK was in the symbol list for the eSignal database -- which it is.

Has anyone gotten something like this to work?

Regards,

Gordon
