Most of Canadian stocks have volume, and the beauty of AB with a database
that includes all symbols is that you can easily set the volume/number-of-
trades threshold of stocks for further analysis.
On the slow day of 2008-Dec-31 AmiBroker found the total of 2978 symbols
traded on the three Canadian exchanges. Here is how you can get this
number:
a) in the filter include all three markets (CNQ, TSX, TSXV):

b) then exclude all indexes:

(the folder with MX options shown on the screenshot is empty so there was
no need to exclude it)
c) run the exploration. Below are the results (Number of Rows = 2978):
