Hi,
I get problems with the datafeed which I call "slow". I have plenty of
internet bandwidth, powerful PC and yet at the end of the day I get
the quotes streaming for 3 minutes after the market close. And
yesterday I was streaming 4 symbols only. I use Amibroker and
Quotetracker with the IQfeed and the problem is the same with both
programs, which makes me think that the problem is IQFeed.
One more thing I dont understand is why IQ connection manager does not
use the entire available internet bandwidth? When I run backfill for a
few symbols IQ connection manager shows that the bandwidth used is
something like 0.4kb/s while I can download multiple large files from
the internet at 500kb/s each.
This way backfilling 60 symbols, 2 day backfill , takes me 1 hour. How
much data is is that?- I guess no more than 2Mb.... Then why does it
take so long ??????
Would it be the AB plugin for IQFeed or IQ connection manager?
