Anyone using IQFeed? I am not getting pre- afterhour tick updates. When I use force backfill the data is there but it doesn't update automatically outside regular market hours. I asked IQFeed and they say it is not on their side and that they can't get it to work with Amibroker also. My intraday settings are "Show 24 hours data".

The limit is not hard coded...

it is here for performance reasons

but if you have hyper-fast machine you can adjust the limit by creating the following (DWORD) key in the registry \\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TJP\Broker\Settings\MaximumNumberOfBars

and set it to any value you wish.

hi,

you mentioned that you get 2 years of 1-minute data backfill with IQFeed. How do you set the database settings to get all these data downloaded? Need to set "number of bars" in database settings to 300000?

they do update continuously.
I've been using IQ feed for about 6 months without a problem on this
front.
