Ed,
What symbols are you trying to get data for...? when you say pre -
afterhour data what exactly do you mean...? When I talk about 24 hour
prices I'm referrring to those that are traded on Globex such at the
ES contract.
In your 'intraday setttings' what's you 'daily time compression uses'
section set to...?

When I use force backfill the data is there but it doesn't update
automatically outside regular market hours. I asked IQFeed and they
say it is not on their side and that they can't get it to work with
Amibroker also. My intraday settings are "Show 24 hours data".
