Hi Ara,

I have been using Parallels on my MacBook and iMac for around 15
months and have to say I have found it to be the most stable version
of Windows I have ever run. I work in IT and have many PC's and when I
look back and think about it, it is quite something to say that
Parallels make Windows work as well as it does. The best thing I like
about it is how you can backup your Windows installation and restore
it anytime you wish... in a couple on minutes. All you need to do od
Copy the Parallel image files over to a back device (or other folder).
This allow you you to test out any software you wish with the
knowledge that if the new software makes a mess of your system; just
throw away the Windows image file and restore your old one.

Performance is very good too. Once Parallels is up and running (boots
nice and fast), I don't see any slow down using any of my apps
(Amibroker, MS Office apps, Ensign, NinjaTrader etc...).

On the hardware side, my Macbook is an Intel 1.8GHz with 2GB of
memory. The iMac is 2GHz with 2GB memory.

I haven't tried fusion maninly because I have no need. Parallels does
everything I need.

Oh, forgot to mention, I only use Windows XP. Haven't tries Vista as
XP does me fine.

I would highly recommend parallels. Works just fine with Amibroker.

Regards,
Pete
