I use TradeStation for execution. Good fee's, good execution. The
graphing is about as good as it gets and the platform is very solid.
The downside is that there is a platform fee unless you trade 5,000
shares/month. That is not hard to hit if you trade short time
frames, but can be a lot if you are a longer time frame investor,
rather than a trading. The trade costs are competitive with any of
the other direct brokers.
I autotrade and have had very good results with it, but it does time
time and experimentation to get it working smoothly.
For my long term accounts, I just use etrade, but at $10/trade gets
pricey if you are at all active.
