[amibroker] Re: Opinion Poll: Who do you trade with? Why?

Thanks for the two suggestions. I bookmarked the MB website for future
study. They look like a great possibility. It appears they make up for
their low commissions by charging quite a bit for their Futures and
Comex data feeds. I figure one way or the other you're going to pay
for the information so it's not a big deal.

Regarding IB. I spent some time on their website and tried out the
demo version of their trader workstation. So far I am very
disappointed. The fact they use a java based platform leads me to
discount them right off the bat. I had problems with their demo
locking up when trying to open a chart. I spent about 45 minutes
trying to open up a basic chart and it just kept crashing. I suppose
the only saving grace for IB is the fact they interface with QT and AB
quite readily. Although I am concerned their java based platform will
cause issues with the interfaces. I will set aside some time for
further testing to see if things work smoothly.

  Pete :-)
