Don't know if this applies to your situation, but I've noticed that if
I have a symbol with many absent bars (ie, holes in the 1 min db), and
my charts are displaying 2-5-15 min bars, that symbol will be very
slow to scroll charts or even scroll back in the quote editor. I've
had 1 symbol with many such holes (>50%) and it seemed to effect
scrolling of other sym as well. My solution was to avoid those
symbols.
I probably should know (but don't) what TJ meant by AA running in the
background. I've asked before - if I run AA once, leave the AA window
open but don't click explore again (and run every... is unckecked) -
is AA running in the background??
