Re: [amibroker] [OT] Using Multiple ISPs

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

You need a router which runs a dynamic routing protocol such as RIP (Routing information protocol).  This will allow a redundant configuration.  In terms of having an active active setup where both lines are being used you need to make sure that the distribution is "per destination" and not per packet as this will cause asynchronous routing.

Linksys are owned by Cisco (specialist router company) and should therefore be a good place to start looking.

For real-time trading I would like to set up two different technology ISPs, each with their own modem to increase bandwidth by combining two low cost ISPs, and to create a Redundant Internet Connection.

Has anyone done this successfully? If so which products are you using?
