Ara,
I noticed that I couldn't find text within afl
files with windows search either. Oddly, I could find text within aflsafe
files.
I got it to work by following the instructions
on:
Method 1 didn't work, but Method 2 did without
having to turn on indexing.
Years ago, I set up afl files set up to
load into NOTEPAD when I doubleclick on them (fast way to see what they contain
without opening AB for just a look).
I made an entry in File Types to do that and there
hasn't been any problem with AB.

Having a problem with handling afl
files.
Code works OK ...problem is:
1. When I access afl files by using windows
explorer, files are slow to apear in window .. appears as though they are not
indexed.
2. When I do a search for specific text with an
afl file, files is not found ... (even though file with seach text
exists).
Appreciate any advice
