Herman,

Using AB Standard v4.9 (pre WatchList folder version).

I have a DJIA Yahoo EOD database with categorization into Markets, 
Groups, Sectors, Watchlists, NoFavourites and one index in the 
Indexes folder.

I made a replicate database (same symbols, different data range) 
without categorization.

With AB closed I copied the broker.watch, broker.workspace, 
broker.master (ctrl + copy/paste) into the replicate database folder 
and then opened it in AB.

All of the structure from the original database was then present in 
the replica database.

I haven't tried it in v5.0 with the new Watchlist Folder in action.
