It seems that a CHM file is simply a compressed file containing HTML
files.

Use 7zip to extract the files:

http://www.7-zip.org/

Of course, Tomasz could click "HTML" instead of "CHM" when he compiles
his help file. In that case, we would have not only the HTML files,
but also the navigator in the left pane (as in CHM).
