I have also noticed this. I think it is because the plugin is always trying
to make a connection to TWS.

I use Interactive Brokers for real time feed to AB for futures data. IB
Trader Workstation is often unavailable on the weekends. If I load a
database in AB that is set up for realtime data feed and the feed is
not available, the performance is unacceptably sluggish.
Other than changing the database settings to local and back to realtime
feed every time I want to use the database, is there any other way to
use the databse off line?
Also, I have used the right click aon the 'connection' button on lower
right of screen and selected 'shutdown' but performance is still very
slow for any of the functions, dropdowns etc.
Any ideas are appreciated.
