Firstly I presume your problem is not related to problems currently
being experienced by some users. See current posts.
I download the previous weeks data for ASX200 stocks from Yahoo every
weekend and it works fine using amiquote. ALL tickers MUST have
the .AX suffix added. eg BHP becomes BHP.AX in your database
Check out the following link for historical data for individual stocks

s=BHP.AX&a=08&b=1&c=2005&d=11&e=31&f=2005&g=d
