Bravo TJ! Love the new feature. I finally got around to downloading the new Amiquote and updating my database. The fundamental data adds a whole new dimension to AB mainly b/c all the relevant fundamental data is right there at your fingertips for quick review rather than having to go to Yahoo finance and then type in each individual stock symbol and then "statistics" to see PE ratios, forward EPS, institutional ownership %, etc.....it's all right there. I have the fundamental data in the upper left have of the screen and the symbol tree in the lower left half so I still have the ability to quickly scroll thru watchlists and can see the fundamental data as I'm scrolling. Sweet upgrade and thanks again!!

Yes in the next stage all existing plugins will be adopted to put what is available from the external source into those new fields.
In the mean time don't forget that you can still import fundamental data using AmiQuote *even* if this database is driven
from external source. BTW, it is quite interesting to see many differencies between Yahoo and say QP2 fundamentals.

can detailed fundamental data be imported from QP with this new feature? I use the getextradata function but I would like to be able to import more than what is offered.

Hello,
1. Do you have "Automatic import" box checked ?
2. Did you open View->Symbol Information ?
3. Look into "downloads" subfolder for files with the extension .aqfn (Yahoo Fundamental Basic)
and .aqfe (Yahoo Fundamental Extra). You may open them with Notepad and look if there
are any data inside.
