Hi
I am finding that AmiQuote overwrites changes I have made to stock
data.
The problem with Yahoo data is that it is not split adjusted so this
has to be done manually in AB. So far so good.
When I download new data at he end of each week, the changes I have
made are overwritten.
I have tried the following:
AQH/AQM/AQE all set to append existing file - changes file anyway
download date set after previous download date - changes file anyway
To test this, change the recent close price of a stock, say AAPL to
something strange, say $5 and save the database.
Download new data using either of the settings above. Once the data
is downloaded and the screen refreshed, the
$5 close will be returned to it's original value.
As I understand it, with the above settings, this should not happen.
I would appreciate any help regarding this matter.
