I have a group of stocks that I track on a longer term basis that
I'd like to enter into a position on if they break a trend line.
My understanding is that I can draw trendlines and using the "Study"
property I can give the trend line and ID and then monitor for a
break in that trend line.
My question is as follows:
For me to enter 2 or 3 lines on each chart (resistance, trend line,
etc) and then for each one have to right click, etc. for each line
is going to take some time.
Is it possible to set a "default" for the trendline so I could say I
want to now put "Resistance" trendlines on each chart and as I place
the lines on they already have a study ID of "RE" attached so I
don't have to right click and go into it.
If I had the ability to set some properties as the default for the
trendline (this is how they do it in tradestation) until I changed
the default each trend line I added would have the same study, which
would really speed things up drawing these on 100+ charts.
Or, maybe there is another way to do this?
thanks
