[amibroker] Will "HOLD" prevent any new "buys" for x days if equity is not available?

A "HI" to the group!!

A newbie here, looking for some ideas on how to perform a "delay" in
trading. Here is the scenario:

1. Am testing "All in" trading, ie up to 100% "in".

2. Since I may not have equity to immediately jump back into another
trade until my SEC mandated settlement (3 days) period ends, I would
like to simulate this in my backtesting.

3. Essentially, this would be a "HOLD" on any BUY trading for "x" days
(probably 3) then resume trading using the same criteria. If other
SELLs happened that freed up enough equity sooner, the system should
override the 3 day hold and press on. This might be considered "nice
to have", but not critical.

4. Ideally, on the fourth day, the formula would simply pickup at that
point; no delayed triggers using old data, etc., just start fresh.

Just want to go to sleep for 3 days, enjoy the thought of the next
trade, then get back at it. 8-)

Any thoughts?

TIA,

Roy
