Hi,
I've owned AmiBroker for around 18 months now but haven't really used
it much in the last 6 months as I've been concentrating more Forex. I
thought I'd wander into this group to see what AmiBroker can offer in
the way of automated currency systems/functions/APIs/etc and am a
little amazed it hasn't seemed to have taken off in this direction.
Whilst the IBc I'm sure is a marvellous piece of code engineering,
Oanda is what I'd have thought as the offering of choice given it's
ability to position size in units as opposed to lots - this allows
risk to be controlled under a microscope.
I know Oanda requires someone obtain an API set as well as pay a
monthly fee (reducable on trade volume). Is there really anyone FX
Trading using Amibroker in here and if so, with Oanda? Is there anyone
able to code the Oanda API to interface to AmiBroker?
As Steve has said, AmiBroker and Oanda partnership would really be the
ultimate for those wanting to go the AutoForex way.
