I've tried quite a few expeditions away from AmiBroker...

TS 7.x - no portfolio backtesting?! forget it

WealthLab - nice debugger feature but hate the fact that my code is
not loose files; hey, I version control my code :-)

QuantStudio - a research/educational project as far as I'm concerned;
very user unfriendly at the moment; but hey, they are on to something
with OO framework written in C# -- wouldn't it be nice to have
re-usable parts of code without the #include limited capability (hint,
hint for future Tomasz)

...but I came back because AB still has the best balance of many major
features and can do usually what you want if you put enough blood,
sweat and tears into it.
