I think we are reaching somewhat of a consesus that the best way to learn
the objectives each user wants for his own specific needs, is by having a
sort of "Reference Manual" of "how to do it"s. With examples, as Dominick
suggests, with explanations or graphs of the results obtained. The manual
would be arranged in alphabetical order of subjects. Not an easy project,
but a great part of it already exists among the various AB resources.

>From personal experience most of the solutions to problems I had in the use
of Excel, I found from a small pocket book called simply "Excel 5 -for
Windows, Instant Reference", a SYBEX edition. It has the following on the
front cover:
- Suitable for Excel users at any level of skill.
- Filled with step-by-step directions for vital commands and features.
- Logically organised to help you find the answers you need fast.
