Hurricane: Not yet - now watching Jeanne... This is the "fun time" of the
year.

Automation: I don't think you'll need a prog in your case. Just set up a
shortcut with the same arguments as in your Tools settings Plus add "/close"
if you want to get rid of AQ after it downloads and add "/autoupdate" and
"/downoad" if you don't already have them. Then add that shortcut to your
Win Schedule. Leave AB running as is and it should work. Give it a try and
lemme know. If it doesn't I can send you a VBscript that will do it. I've
already got one so no prob on this end.

Hey Dingo !

Any hurricane effects in your area yet :-)

Regarding my AQ automation project.

I currently get historical files from one
source, 'Yahoo EOD' using TOOLS-->Auto-Update Quotes(can/US)
which I must click every day for a database update.

If I were to write a VB program that calls
the "AmiQuote.EXE/autoupdate" program every day
at 10:00PM, might this work.?

Do you think this would interfere with the SCAN
which I have set to "autoscan" every 480 min. (8hrs)

The general idea is that I need to get emails
while I am away from AB for up to a week.
