[amibroker] Re: Is this possible?

Has anybody who is using a quality Virus detection program ever had a virus
come through and corrupt files?

At a cost of about $29CAN annually I have an automatically updated Anti
Virus program. I receive virus infected material almost daily and they are
all detected and deleted upon receipt. Perhaps i am lucky but I have never
had a virus infect my computers, to me harddisk failure is a much greater
risk/problem (HDs have died on me).

If you are trading over the internet a virus detection program is a
necessary trading "tool". If you don't have one consider getting one.

best regards,
herman.

  Keith,

Yes some attachments are safe - and I HAVE ASKED YAHOO STAFF to allow
group owners to DEFINE extensions of safe attachments.
  But they DID NOT answer.
The only setting on YahooGroups is ALL attachments ON or OFF.
You can not define extensions so it is useless as it allows to distribute
all viruses
  very easily.

I don't have full control over Yahoogroups, but I have control over web
boards
http://www.amibroker.org/boards - attachments there are ALLOWED.

So if you need to post a picture you can post it there and provide a link
to the message
  when you are posting here.

As for headers of previous post - I was using YahooGroup web interface to
send this
one hence it has only grp.scd.yahoo.com in the header.

  Best regards,
  Tomasz Janeczko
