Hello,
I installed the eSignal plugin and set up a new database in Amibroker.
Amibroker picked up my eSignal username and password without any
problems
(so eSignal was installed correctly). Now, whenever I run Amibroker
and
eSignal, I get the following dialog box (I believe it is a Windows
dialog
box) -
Program Error
winros.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You need to restart the program.
An error log is being created
Amibroker shows the Plugin status as yellow color with the message
"Partially connected. Waiting to connect to remaining servers"
Also now I get the same winros.exe error message if I start/restart
eSignal and no quotes for either eSignal or Amibroker.
My system is Windows 2000 Professional, 1GHz with 750MB RAM, eSignal
Basic is Ver 7.6 (Build 636A) and Amibroker Professional is Ver
4.50.12
If I reboot and run Amibroker - it connects to eSignal without any
problems. I can shut down and restart Amibroker - no problems in
getting RT quotes.
If I reboot and run eSignal - it runs OK too. Again shutting down
and restarting eSignal is also OK and I get quotes.
However, if I close one application (either Amibroker or eSignal) and
run the other (without rebooting)- I get the winros.exe error
message. eSignal shows the "No DM" status at bottom right.
I am well within my eSignal symbol limit of 100 (eSignal 9 symbols
and Amibroker 1 - since I'm just setting it up at the moment).
How can I have both my eSignal and Amibroker up and running at the
same time with RT quotes in both?
Thanks for your help!
