I had to post what appears like spam in order to 
ask this off topic question.  
 
I have not yet done any searching, but I may decide to 
purchase a huge monitor.  Will this TV function just like a monitor?  
If so, do TV's state their contrast ratios like the monitors do? 
 What do 30" monitors cost?  Is this really a great price for a 30" TV 
or monitor. TIA  For Advice.Ron D
