Bill,

Are you just plain stubborn, or dense?

w> (must be real old) that cannot accept html.

It has NOTHING, repeat, NOTHING to do with not being able to accept
HTML mail. I **CHOOSE** not to read HTML mail. I *choose* not to
leave myself wide open to all the trouble that comes with HTML access
to my machine.

And yes, if you would do some reading, you would discover something
you apparently either do not know, comprehend, or accept: that when
sending HTML mail it should be formatted to that it displays properly
in plain-text readers. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR DAMN HTML
e-mail, except that YOU HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR
MAIL CLIENT. Do you get it yet??? SEND ALL THE HTML E-MAIL YOU WANT.
But LEARN HOW IT SHOULD BE FORMATTED.

Dimitris posts in HTML. But correctly. It is not even a slight
problem.

There is no debate about this aspect of the discussion -- except by
stubborn or ignorant people. The more you read, the more you
understand. It is possible to make HTML e-mail unobtrusive and
acceptable. You apparently are unable or unwilling to do that.

Apparently you selectively read, or aborted reading, the links I
posted for you. This is a mailing list, as well as a Yahoo group.
For the e-mail component of this list, formatting all mail so that
plain-text readers handle it well is *expected*. It's the norm. It's
the standard. There is no debate about this, except in the mind of
the very few stubborn or ignorant.
