You are wrong, Bill.  This is not a market.  Plain text is the
original e-mail standard.

Every.  I repeat, every, bar none, zero exception, BEYOND THE SHADOW
OF A DOUBT, e-mail client processes it.

HTML is an invention of the Web that was ported to e-mail.  NOT ALL
CLIENTS SUPPORT, OR ARE EXPECTED TO SUPPORT it.

You, are expected to format your HTML mail, should you chose to send
in that format, in a way that ensures that it displays CORRECTLY in a
PLAIN-TEXT client.

Period.
